We bring princess magic to YOUR venue or home in NYC and surrounding areas!
Manhattan, Astoria, Brooklyn, Yonkers, Queens, Long Island, New Jersey, and Connecticut are all included in our service area.
Travel Fees
Why a travel fee?
Our headquarters are located in Upper Manhattan.
We have one company vehicle, however, when that is booked up, we also offer the option to book additional parties by sending princesses by a taxi or Uber.
Why can't they take the subway?
We create the most magical experience possible by sending performers in full costume, arriving at your door ready to start performing! We also protect our costumes & our performers by avoiding sending them via public transit.
The fee covers your performers' gas, tolls, meals on the road, and pay for taking time out of their day to come visit you!

What are you doing about Covid?
Your little one's safety and the safety of your family is our top priority.
- All princess performers are fully vaccinated (2 shots and booster), and they must test negative each week before attending parties. We are happy to provide photos/proof of the performer's negative test upon request.
- We highly recommend guests also test before parties
- Due to recent surges, we ask all of your guests to be masked for indoor parties, and the princess will wear a mask.
Don't want the princess to wear a mask? No problem! Here are some other options:
- Host an outdoor party! Our princesses can stay warm due to our heavy layers and wigs. Guests & princess are not required to mask if we are outdoors!
- Host a virtual party! Our interactive virtual parties are just as magical - PLUS we take care of the invitation, hosting the event, recording, and you can invite your friends from all over the world! Click for Virtual Parties!

If your party is located outside of Manhattan, a travel fee will apply to cover our fuel, tolls, & performer pay for driving time.

Get the travel fee waived: Although we have a company vehicle, it may already be in full use on busier weekends.
If you'd like to have the travel fee waived, ask us about providing a space for the performer to get ready!
We will send the performer via public transit with her supplies & costume at no travel fee to you.
Please note: The space provided must be clean, able to be locked for performers' privacy, and away from the children seeing performer entering/exiting the changing area. Performer will arrive 20-30 minutes before your party to get ready, and also need a place to store her personal things while performing.

- A chair/stoool/couch/bench is preferred for Story Time and will also be used as the Royal Throne for little ones being crowned.
- An end table, small table, edge of a party table, or another chair for the performer to set up her supplies & speaker.
For an extra magical photo opportunity, we suggest putting the chair where performances will happen in front of your decorations or backdrop!
We do ask that you provide:

What will the princess do?
Joy's Princess Parties characters have always been known for our entertaining princess characters with a theatrical twist!
The princess will spend time making each child feel special and heard, talk about her recent adventures as if she has just come from her castle, tell an interactive story, sing songs, and answer questions, sing Happy Birthday with all of your guests, and all the activities listed in the packages.
We will take into account any special messages you'd like us to add as well!
Order of Events and What to Expect:
- Plan to have the princess arrive AFTER all of your guests, so no guest misses out on her Royal Entrance.
- Plan activities such as cake & presents for AFTER the princess leaves.
We will fill the entire princess visit with nonstop activities meant to engage your little ones!
We also find that the cake is a great distraction from the princess exit.
Order of Events:
- Royal Entrance: Princess will arrive prepared in costume and greet all of your guests. She will spend a moment speaking with just the birthday child.
- Interactive Story Time & Show Portion: Princess will begin story time in designated spot, asking children to participate in the story with actions, answering questions, and singing along to favorite princess songs.
- Live Singing Performances: The princess brings her own speaker and music to be played throughout the party with each activity.
- If you've elected for Premiere, Royal Celebration or Most Magical, your party includes even more fun!
Makeovers, Dancing, Bubbles, Craft, & Royal Coronation Ceremony will all happen in that order. The children will be asked to sing, dance along, play and more surprises!
- Princess will end the party with a group photo, and photos with individual children.
- Lastly, the princess will sing Happy Birthday to the birthday child! This is a great time to bring out the birthday cake and blow out candles!
- The Princess will offer last hugs, questions, or photos, say her goodbyes, and leave the party.
To keep the experience magical, it is suggested to attempt to keep the children away from the windows during her entrance & exit, so she is not seen getting into her "carriage".
