Where will you bring princesses?
We serve NYC and surrounding areas!
Our headquarters are located in UES, Manhattan.
If your party is located outside of Manhattan, a travel fee will apply to cover our fuel, tolls, & performer pay for driving time.
If your party is 30 minutes or less away from our headquarters, the fee is typically $50 for one or two characters.
If your party is 30minutes to an hour away, the fee is typically $100.
Parties further away will be calculated based on our actual costs.

What do i need to provide?
The princess will bring all supplies necessary for the activities!
She brings: Book for story time (or will improvise), Speaker & remote for magical music during the party, makeover supplies including individual use applicators and sanitizer (if makeovers are included), paper crowns & crayons (for the crown craft), bubble machine & bubbles in a waterproof bag (if bubbles are included), and lastly, if you are having the royal coronation, the princess will bring a beautiful tiara for your birthday princess! She may also have advertising materials such as business cards for any interested guests.
She will bring all of this in a fairytale bag for the most magical experience, and keep her supplies clean and neatly put away when not used.
We ask that you provide:
- A clean space for the princess to perform. Please ensure the area is not muddy, dirty, or asks the perform to perform in rain, snow, or heat. Consider that they may need some room for dancing!
- A chair/stool/couch/bench is preferred for Story Time.
- An end table, small table, edge of a party table, or another chair for the performer to set up her makeover supplies & speaker.
We are flexible with performing in any space, from small NYC apartments to giant venues!
*If your party is over an hour away, we may ask about a space for the character to change into costume, rather than driving in costume for a long period.*
For an extra magical photo opportunity, we suggest putting the chair/table where performances will happen in front of your decorations or backdrop!

Joy's Princess Parties characters have always been known for our entertaining princess characters with a theatrical twist!
The princess will spend time making each child feel special and heard, talk about her recent adventures as if she has just come from her castle, tell an interactive story, sing songs, and answer questions, sing Happy Birthday with all of your guests, and all the activities listed in the packages.
We will take into account any special messages you'd like us to add as well - such as, "I heard you are learning to read! You are doing such a great job and I'm so proud of you. Will you promise to keep doing your best at school?" Children LOVE hearing these encouraging words from their idol and it often sticks with them!
Order of Events and What to Expect:
- Plan to have the princess arrive AFTER all of your guests, so no guest misses out on her Royal Entrance.
- Plan activities such as eating cake & presents for AFTER the princess leaves.
We will fill the entire princess visit with nonstop activities meant to engage your little ones!
The princess sings happy birthday last, so we also find that bringing out the cake then is a great distraction from the princess exit!
Order of Events:
- Royal Entrance: Princess will arrive prepared in costume and greet all of your guests. She will spend a moment speaking with just the birthday child and asking ice breaker questions to all the children as they warm up to her.
- Interactive Story Time & Show Portion: Princess will begin story time in designated spot, asking children to participate in the story with actions, answering questions, and singing along to favorite princess songs.
- Live Singing Performances: The princess brings her own speaker and music to be played throughout the party with each activity. Each of our performers sing live and will sing the songs from their movies.
- If you've elected for Premiere or Most Magical, your party includes even more fun!
Makeovers, Dancing, Bubbles, Crown Craft for all the children, & Royal Coronation Ceremony for just the birthday child - will all happen in that order. The children will be asked to sing, dance along, play and more surprises!
- Princess will end the party with a group photo, and photos with individual children.
- Lastly, the princess will sing Happy Birthday to the birthday child! This is a great time to bring out the birthday cake and blow out candles!
- The Princess will offer last hugs, questions, or photos, say her goodbyes, and leave the party.
To keep the experience magical, it is suggested to attempt to keep the children away from the windows/doors during her entrance & exit, so she is not seen getting into her "carriage".

Absolutely! Our princesses make every effort to include each guest in the activities.
We find that girls AND boys love the princesses - due to their warm, caring nature, and super fun activities!
Boys love joining in on the dancing, games, playing in bubbles, coloring a crown, and even getting coronated as a true royal, prince, or superhero. We offer each activity to each guest, but will not force participation.
We offer FREE personalized digital invitations via our partner, YAY-list!
