Requirements: Must be 18+ Must have a valid drivers' license Must have experience working with children Must have acting and vocal experience, a BA or BFA in Music Theatre is a plus! We are seeking proactive, compassionate, creative, and outgoing individuals. Our pay starts at $50 per party and UP! We provide costumes, wigs, and princess character training by our professional princess trainers who will teach you every mannerism, pose, phrase, and more to bring the characters to life! We are seeking characters of all ethnicities to join us and represent every child's favorite princess character! Just like our favorite snowman, the princesses love summer! Our favorite suggestions for planning outdoor parties are below: - Location There are so many amazing parks in NYC, they always make a great party location. Choose a location that has enough space for dancing and other princess activities! You may also want to consider the environment that will be in your photos when picking the location. For example, princess parties at a park are a lovely idea - but watch out for those NYC trashcans in every party photo! You may also want to consider being out of direct sunlight for perfect birthday party photos! Consider the ground - is it wet, dirty, muddy? You may want to consider a different area to keep the kiddos and princesses clean! - Weather "Bruno says it looks like rain..." Nothing ruins an outdoor birthday party like bad weather! Be sure to check the weather in advance. At Joy's Princess Parties, our princesses have very flexible rescheduling policies, but we always suggest having a back up plan in case in rains. Such as a covered or indoor party area for the kids and princess to stay dry. Or, at the very least, a rain date for your party in case of bad weather. - Party Decorations How do you decorate for an outdoor princess party? Well, the great thing about park parties, is the background is often royal and fairytale enough! You can also always throw a Cinderella themed tablecloth over a picnic table, and tie blue balloons to it or a nearby tree! Or for a Beauty and the Beast party, decorate with real roses! Crepe paper makes great DIY jellyfish for an Ariel Under the Sea party. Princess party decorations are also a great idea to help signal the princess entertainer to your birthday party when there are other parties occurring at the same time in the same general area. When the children's entertainer sees those Frozen balloons, Elsa knows which princess party she's attending! (Or sometimes we see the birthday girl in their matching Elsa dress and we instantly know which little girl is celebrating with us today!) Whatever you choose, you always know that Joy's Princess Parties is the best princess entertainment in NYC and takes care of all the entertainment. After you've picked your date, location, and decorations, all you need to do is relax and enjoy the party while our princesses delight the children with magical birthday party activities!
